The Aggregate Washer is designed to streamline the removal of clay, silt, and other fine particles from soil and small aggregate samples. Ideal for geotechnical and construction materials laboratories, this unit helps separate material passing the No. 200 sieve, 75µm, while reducing the time and variability associated with hand washing.

During operation, water is supplied through a permanent connection and delivered into the inclined stainless steel drum. As the drum rotates, the sample is gently washed until the overflow runs clear. Discharge water can be directed over test sieves to retain larger particles and prevent loss of oversized material.

The compact design fits conveniently on a lab countertop near a sink, making it well suited for routine sample preparation. A removable stainless steel drum allows easy loading, unloading, cleaning, and weighing. The swiveling gooseneck water tube moves out of the way for quick drum removal.
