Sample Splitter - Porta Splitter - Chutes 1/2 To 3 Inches, .5 Cu Ft Hopper

The use of riffle splitters is an effective and efficient method for sample homogenization and sample splitting and provides one of the best general methods of sample mixing to obtain bulk sample homogeneity.

FORNEY’s range of Universal Sample Splitters can be used in splitting material sizes from fines to 4 inches. Universal sample splitters have adjustable chutes enabling one splitter to work with different sample types and sizes, while assuring mixing accuracy. 

The universal chute section is made of a set of steel bars to form chutes of desired width. The bars are held together by wing nuts on the pivot rod ends. Hoppers have a lever release.

Porta Splitter is durable and features a compact size. Its chute openings can be adjusted from one-half inch to 3 inches. With a .55 cu ft hopper capacity, this model is good for floor or bench use.

Dimensions: 22 x 14½ x 20½ in. (WDH).

Sample collecting pans are included; additional pans available. Made of heavy-gauge steel with baked paint finish. 

Meets ASTM C702, D75, D2234 BS 812:1, 1377:2, 1924:1, EN 933-3.
