Sample Splitter - Versa Splitter, ¾ inch and smaller sizes

Used for fine mineral aggregates up to 1 inch (25.4mm). The frame is painted steel, and most contact parts are stainless steel except for the anodized aluminum chute. Each splitter features an adjustable chute system and lever-release hopper.The LA-0454 Splitter has a row of precision-machined aluminum bars to direct equal amounts of material to each side into sample collection pans. The operator arranges the chute bars equally on alternate sides. Once set, the bars are drawn together by tighteing wing nuts on threaded ends of the rod. The gated hopper holds the entire sample in place to allow proper material placement and even distribution prior to splitting. Pulling the lever releases the material to flow freely across the entire width of chute openings.

The standard 60° chute slope improves material flow of lighter and finer materials while meeting certain coal or coke testing specifications.

Two sample pans are included with the Splitter. For additional pans , add at LA-0454-01, Material Pan for Versa Splitter
