Gay Lussac Bottles are recommended for determining specific gravity of small samples of fine-grained soils, mineral fillers and creosote fractions. The serial numbered matching bottles and stoppers are available in three sizes. Glass stoppers have a capillary and are ground flat for take-off of overflow. Bottles are adjusted to routine testing accuracy.
