The Speedy moisture tester ASTM D4944 test can determine the moisture levels of many different aggregate materials. Determining the relative moisture of an aggregate is highly important, and you need machines that can perform a precise analysis of your material. That’s why Forney carries two different models of the Speedy moisture tester for ASTM D4944 analysis.
We offer the LA-3406 model, which is the standard size of Speedy moisture tester. If you’re analyzing larger, more coarse aggregates, we also stock the LA-3407, which is perfect for bigger chunks of material. With either option, you’ll receive a machine that can quickly and accurately perform moisture tests on many different kinds of materials, while requiring no power supply. You can even test your samples on-site, eliminating the risk of losing moisture from the samples during transport.
Our Speedy moisture testers for ASTM D4944 tests have sturdy aluminum bodies and integral dials, with pressure gauges that produce readings in as little as one minute. These machines include an electronic digital balance, a measuring scoop, a brush, a cleaning cloth, two steel pulverizing balls, and a heavy-duty waterproof case.
If you’re looking for a moisture tester that compares to the older Speedy machine models, take a look at the Forney moisture tester. This product has a 20-gram capacity and comes with a vessel and gauge, a digital scale, a scoop, a cleaning brush, a cleaning cloth, and steel pulverizing balls. The Forney moisture testing machine also comes with a water-tight, dust-proof plastic carrying case.
