For preparing 4 in diameter compacted specimens, model has beveled foot on hammer and mold that rotates throughout compaction, giving a modified kneading action. Fully automatic operation compacts samples at preset number of blows and shuts off on completion. Unit includes compactor, counter, pedestal, and mold assembly.

Marshall Compactor includes: the mechanical compactor, ASTM-compliant pedestal, an automatic counter and tapered-foothammer assembly, one compaction mold, and one package of paper discs.
