Vacuum Pycnometer is used in Rice Testing to determine the maximum specific gravity of bituminous paving mixtures with maximum aggregate size up to 2 in (50 mm). Set features domed transparent cover for easy observation of sample testing.
Unit includes water inlet valve and 1/4 in ID hose, quick-disconnect, vacuum gauge, vacuum hose
and aspirator with 3/8 in NPT fitting. Maximum sample capacity is 2.64 gal (10 L), 13lb (6 kg).
Meets ASTM D2041, AASHTO T209, T283, EN 12697-5, EN 13108.
