Used to determine the maximum specific gravity of uncompacted bituminous paving mixtures (Rice Test). The 2 kg unit can handle mixes with ¾ in (19.1 mm) and smaller aggregate.
Set includes aluminum volumetric canister, volumetric lid, flat plexiglas vacuum lid with O ring, volumeter, metal water vacuum aspirator with 3/8 in IPT, 6 ft hose.
Meets ASTM D2041, AASHTO T209, T283, EN 12697-5, EN 13108.
