Used to cap masonry blocks in preparation for compression testing. The fixture consists of a heavy duty base precision ground to a tolerance of 0.002 in (0.05 mm) in 6 inch (152 mm) and an adjustable retainer for 4 in (102 mm), 8 in (203 mm), 10 in (254 mm) and 12 (305 mm) masonry blocks.
