FORNEY Retainer Rings are made from machined steel.

The Retainer Ring Set includes two 6-inch Retainer Rings and two 70 durometer pad caps (not shown in photo).

Note: It is very important for the flat surface of the Retainer Ring to have full surface contact with the lower and upper platens of the testing machine. Retainer Rings' bearing surface is planed to within .002 in/.05 mm.
