SCC L Box

The SCC L-Box determines the flow rates and passability of self compacting concrete in confined spaces. The test gives valuable information about filling and passing ability, and segregation resistance. It can be performed in the laboratory or in the field for QC testing. The test box is comprised of concrete reservoir, slide gate, three obstacles and test basin. The L-Box is comprised of concrete reservoir, slide gate, three obstacles and test basin. The flared top of the reservoir aids in accurate pouring of concrete sample into reservoir. The dimensions of the L-Box are 31.5 in x 23.6 in x 35.4 in LWH (80 x 60 x 90) cm. The three bars which are welded to the gate have a 16mm diameter with 38mm of daylight between them. The lift gate has the bars welded to it.
