The K-Slump Tester serves as an efficient tool for assessing the approximate concrete slump and workability. To use the tester, simply insert it into the concrete until it reaches the level of the disc. After allowing it to sit for 40 seconds, lower the measuring rod until it gently touches the surface of the concrete that has entered the tester. You can then determine the K-Slump value by reading the graduated scale. Once the tester is removed, the workability value can be obtained from the scale at the height of the concrete retained within the tester. For accurate readings, ensure that there is at least 6 inches (152 mm) of concrete surrounding the tester. Comprehensive instructions and correlation charts are included for your convenience.
