Built and factory calibrated to rigid, high quality standards, these compact, completely self-contained scales offer an exceptional combination of ruggedness, and ease of operation. They are lightweight (26 lbs) and portable. They are available in English, metric, and avoirdupois models, using mirrored balance indicators for fast, easy, and accurate viewing, along with a notched beam with clear, sharp graduations. Both the platform and beam can be locked when not in use to avoid damage. The construction includes a steel housing and platform, special cast aluminum alloy levers with adjustable hardened steel pivots, self-aligning hardened steel bearings, adjustable leveling legs, and a bubble level indicator.
