Sieving Accessories
Sieve testing requires quite a few accessories. After all, you need more than just the sieves themselves to conduct aggregate analysis. Thankfully, Forney’s comprehensive line of sieving accessories has everything you need to complement your sieves and conduct accurate tests on any aggregate sample.
For instance, we offer many different sizes and styles of sieve pans and sieve covers, allowing you to secure your sample within the sieve. Our inventory includes sieve pans ranging from 8” to 12” in diameter, and you can choose from various heights, rim styles, and finishes. Similarly, we have many different sieve covers available: brass or stainless steel, with or without rings, 8” or 12” sizes, etc.
Keeping your sieves clean is always of vital importance, which is why we have six sieve brush styles available. You can select our standard sieve cleaning brush or opt for our wire sieve brush, coarse sieve brush, fine sieve cleaning brush, stiff wire brush, or bench brush. Each of these brushes has its own strengths when it comes to sieve maintenance — feel free to reach out if you’re having trouble deciding which one is the right choice for your needs!
In addition, we offer the Ultrasonic Sieve Cleaner, which can safely and efficiently clean up to six sieves at a time. This product includes a stainless steel 20-quart tank, microprocessor circuitry, a timer, a cooling fan, and a sieve holding rack. We also sell a magnifying comparator that you can use to inspect your sieve mesh and verify its size.
