Consolidation Load Frame 16 TSF, 62 psi

Combination dead weight and pneumatic load frame maintains set load independent of sample compression within loading interval. Design features over the side dead weight mechanism for loads from 100 to 3200 psf. All weights are included. Pneumatic piston used for 16, 32 or 64 tsf loads.

Design features a low-bleed Fairchild regulator to set and maintain load. Regulator is sensitive to 1/8 in (3.1 mm) water column variation. If there is no compressor on-site, an accessory air compressor is available. Instrument has digital readout and 0.1% linearity transducer. Construction features include enameled steel cabinet. 1 in (25.4 mm) thick aluminum load platforms have adjustable centering pads to facilitate alignment. Instrument design allows for use of consolidometers from other manufacturers up to 7.25 in (184 mm) diameter.

All models feature instantaneous loading without impact, and load flexibility. All are insensitive to shock and inertia forces. Compact size allows for table top operation.
