Extractor Tool, Drill Rod and Scraper Plate (available separately) are used to produce a level site and drill a hole in preparation to use a nuclear gauge probe to determine soil density and moisture content.
The heavy-duty steel drill rod is designed to fit into guides on the scraper plate. The steel extractor is used to remove the drill rod after it is pounded into the soil. The 5-pound (2.3 kg) hammer used to drive the drill rod.
