This test determines moisture content when soil changes from plastic to liquid state. Machine jars soil sample from fixed height to close groove in sample at the liquid limit.

LA-3725 ASTM Grooving tool is made of plastic with gauge at one end and is included in the kit. The gauge is used to set the height of the cup. Package contains 10 Grooving Tools.
