The above tests can be performed when the machine is equipped with the proper components. It has a 10,000 lbf (44.5kN) capacity and 1/8hp DC drive motor regulates speed to within ±1%.
The load frame features a powder-coated steel cabinet and precision loading screw with protective boot. Controls are located on the front panel and allow the operator to adjust the direction of the 8 inch (203mm) diameter platen. The vertical 1.25in (32mm) diameter rods allow for a quick change of crossarm height.
