The LA-3628 Load Frame can be used for  California Bearing Ratio (CBR), Unconfined Compressive Strength (UC), Triaxial, and Soil Cement tests.

The LA-3628 Load Frame has 10,000lbf capacity and wide strain rate of 0.0001 – 0.29999in/min (44.5 kN / 0.00254 – 7.62mm/min), It can be used for the above tests when equipped with proper load and displacement components. The 1/4hp DC drive motor regulates speed to within ±1%.

The steel cabinet is made of powder-coated steel; the loading screw has protective boot to protect the Load Frame from severe lab environments. Front panel controls allow the operator to adjust the direction and speed of the 8in (203mm) diameter platen, as well as select the strain rate. The vertical 1.25in (32mm) diameter rods allow for a quick change of crossarm height.

Triaxial, California Bearing Ratio (CBR), Unconfined Compression (UCC), Soil Cement and Marshall testing are all possible  when equipped with essential accessories. Inquire about custom applications.
