Sliding Sleeved Drive Hammer, Modified DCP

The Sleeved Drive Hammer has been designed to provide a safe means of conducting the DCP Test in accordance with ASTM STP-399, the most widely accepted portable method for evaluating strength and density of soil, in situ. It is designed to fit standard “E” drill rod extensions and is compatible with existing Dynamic Cone Penetrometer units. There are no exterior impact zones on the Sleeved Drive Hammer sides. The 15-pound Sleeved Drive Hammer unit is compact, easy to transport, is zinc-plated for protection against corrosion and is capable of being disassembled by the user for periodic inspection and cleaning.
