Penetrometer, Static Cone

Designed for use in fine-grained, soft soils at shallow foundation and pavement subgrades to evaluate for soil consistency, level of compaction and bearing capacity. The basic unit is totally self contained, weighs 5 lb, and is set up for a 2-ft maximum depth. Intended to be operated by one person and requires no auxiliary equipment for day-to-day use.
