De-aired water is used in triaxial and permeability testing. An acrylic chamber is filled with water and subjected to a vacuum to remove trapped air.
Each tank furnished with control valves, fittings and lines for filling, vacuum, vent and water outflow to control panel and test chamber.
Wall mounting recommended above height of test chamber and panel to allow gravity flow of de-aired water to chamber as needed with minimum turbulence. Tank can also be floor mounted but requires pressure to deliver water to test unit. A Vacuum source of 29 inches Hg is required.
