SCC L-Box

The SCC L-Box determines the flow rates and passability of of self compacting concrete in confined spaces. The test gives valuable information about filling and passing ability, and segregation resistance. It can be performed in the laboratory or in the field for QC testing.

The L-Box is comprised of concrete reservoir, slide gate, three obstacles and test basin. The flared top of the reservoir aids in accurate pouring of concrete sample into reservoir.
