Load Frame, 10,000 lb capacity with 2 in/min fixed strain rate

The LA-3626-01 Load Frame can perform a variety of Marshall testing applications,

The fixed 2 in/min strain rate also covers Indirect Tensile (Lottman), Semi-Circular Bend (SCB), Tack Shear, and other testing of hot-mix asphalt samples when equipped with proper load and displacement components. It has a 10,000 lbf (44.5kN) capacity and 1hp AC drive motor which regulates speed to within ±1%.

The LA-3626-01 features a powder-coated steel cabinet and precision loading screw with protective boot. Controls are located on the front panel and allow the operator to adjust the direction of the 8 inch (203mm) diameter platen. The vertical 1.25in (32mm) diameter rods allow for a quick change of crossarm height.
