Melting Pot, 4 Litre 220 V/50/60, 3 Amp
WARNING: Cancer and reproductive harmUsed to melt capping compound, sealing wax, paraffin, and other materials.
Manufactured from heavy duty cast aluminum with heating elements in constant contact with bottom of inner chamber and a 100°F to 320°F (38°C to 160°C) thermostat.
Aluminum crucible and base with stainless steel shell.
Note that when the melted matter is ladled out of the melting pot, the temperature of the remaining material will go up unless the thermostat is adjusted. It is a good idea to check the temperature of the melted material with a thermometer to ensure the material does not heat past its optimum level.
Works with single phase 220-240 volt power supply. The 220-volt unit does not include a cord plug; it only comes with bare wires.
Meets ASTM C617, AASHTO T231, EN 12390-3.
