Soil Compaction Mold, Standard, 4 In

Standard Proctor Molds are used to produce 4 or 6 inch compacted soil specimens. All proctor molds have detachable extension collar and base plate and are plated to resist corrosion. Two threaded hold-down studs with quick release wing nuts secure the mold to the base plate.

Standard molds require the use of a Sample Ejector (LA-2060-05) to remove the specimen.

4 inch molds meet ASTM D558 D559 D560 D698 D1557 D1558 and AASHTO T 99 T 134 T 135 T 180.
