Concrete testing starts with a properly cast specimen. This new gray single-use mold offering from Forney is now our primary plastic cylinder mold offering for concrete test specimen casting. Made from seamless, non-absorbent, single-piece injected plastic, these molds help maintain a uniform cylinder shape during casting, handling, and curing in both field and lab environments.

After curing, specimens can be stripped using a standard cylinder stripping tool or the Forney Power Stripper. Prepared specimens can then be finished for compression testing using Hi-Cap Capping Compound, Pad Caps, or other approved specimen preparation methods based on your testing procedure.
