Sample Splitters
Sample splitters allow you to cut a sample of aggregate into two identical portions, which you can use to test the aggregate’s quality or determine which properties it needs to produce an ideal concrete or cement mixture. Forney’s aggregate equipment inventory includes a variety of splitter sizes and styles, including everything from large-capacity splitters meeting California’s CalTrans 201 requirements to small microsplitters for fine, easily segregated materials.
At Forney, you can count on us to carry many different aggregate and universal sample splitters. Our universal splitters are great options if you need to split large quantities of aggregate material, and we offer four different models. Our largest universal sample splitter is our 3.5 cubic-foot mass splitter with chutes ranging from 1” to 12”. We also offer the Versa splitter, which is ideal for splitting fine mineral aggregates of 0.75-inch diameter and smaller.
