Used to measure the permeability of the surface of concrete using the Torrent two chamber vacuum cell method. System consists of a display unit with graphic LCD powered by six AA batteries, non-volatile memory, storage up to 200 objects, RS-232 C, software for printer and PC download, printer cable, PC download cable and carrying case.
Control unit with pressure regulator, pressure sensor, control valve, vacuum connection and carrying case. Case dimensions: 20.5 in x 14.6 in x 4.9 in (52 x 37 x 12.5 cm). Two chamber vacuum cell with sealing rings.
Note: System operated by optional commercial vacuum pump, 3 ft³/min (85 L/min).
